A Quick Guide To KS2 Maths & English Tuition
Give your child additional confidence. Tuition to improve their Maths and English skill set.
1.Make decision on tuition help
If you feel a grammar school education is not for your child but you feel they would benefit from extra help in Mathematics and English, I also offer sessions tailored to each child’s individual needs.
2. Discuss areas of support
Upon requesting tuition for extra help in either Maths or English, I will discuss what are the specific areas your child requires extra support in.
3. KS2 English
In English for example this might be reading, writing, grammar and spelling or a combination of any of these areas.
4. KS2 Maths
For Maths we will secure written methods for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We will apply this knowledge to solve a variety of real life word problems.
5. Encourage and reassure
I endeavour to make each session interesting and fun for the children, whilst at the same time giving constant encouragement and reassurance.
6. Supporting school work
All the sessions aim to build on and reinforce the work the children already do in school.
